Shabby Chic Faith Card

I love to make pretty cards, and this is the next installment of my pretty card trend I am on.  There is going to be more, I just love making these things!!  I just did a card in yellow, maybe green is next!!

I love the idea of a mostly single color card, with just hints of other neutral colors added in there.  I also liked the idea of keeping the theme neutral as well.  So Faith could work for a baby shower, new baby, wedding, wedding shower, anniversary, birthday, get well, sympathy, mother's day; really the list could do on and on.  So for now this card is in my stash ready for my next event to use it at.

Check out my video tutorial to see how to make this pretty card!!

To add to the layers of the card I cut out a set of dies from Die~Namites Dies "Pompom" in ivory cardstock.  It just adds a little something to the card with all the other layers, adds a little bit a beauty!

Hi my dear crafty friends.

Susanne here today and I like to share some easter home decor today. I made these beautiful decorative eggs with the Spring Blossoms from Die-Namites dies. Scroll down to see how this works!

You'll save 15% in the Die-Namites Online Store using "susanne15" during checkout!
Spring Blossoms

You need some styrofoam eggs and spear each on a skewer. Adhere the die cuts (two for each egg) with Gel Medium. Let it dry.

Paint the egg with dark brown acrylic paint and wipe the color away immediately by using baby wipes.

Voilá! Finished is your shabby chic easter home decor. Of course you can also use them to hang them up!

Thanks for stopping by today. Susanne.

February is a month of love.
Just a few day ago we were celebrating Valentine's Day.
Today I have a few love card for you.

What do you need to make a card like this?
Make a base of white watercolor paper.
Let's start with making background using some water, paintbrush and sprays. I used mists blue and purple.
Wet the paper with water and add few drops of each colour you picked for your base. Let your paints to bleed into each other mix.
To add some interest to the background add some splatters.

Cut a few Rose Leaves and Budding Branch:

Next I created composition using die cuts and embellishments.
Next step is stamping . Adding sentiment stamps.
And our cards is ready!

gift tag by Marina Gridasova

hello ladies and gentleman! it's Marina here today and I want to share with you some more info about my tag for our February challenge - you still have time to take a part! Just use at least 1 die from Die-Namites and you're in ))))) the deadline is 02/28/2016 at 11.55 EST, so don't forget to link up onto the original challenge post here.
so here is our inspirational photo

ok, so let's see the tag
 details:

I used Manila Tag as a base and for the background I use a paper piece from old stash, that match perfectly to our Challenge picture palette. When our background is ready it's time to make a base for our flower composition.
I cut Butterfly Frame from patterned paper and with my scissors cut it onto small size. Next layer is Rose Leaves with some flat flowers and add Budding Vine to make your design intricate. Your base is ready and our dies are perfect way to add more layers and intricate details without congestion composition.
For the flower composition you can use any flowers you like - I prefer two-toned rose as main detail and some berries as accents (also you can add more flat flowers to make multi-layered composition). Also because there are some dots on our Inspiration pic I decided to add some Liquid Pearl. The final step - add your tite and your tag is ready ))))

here is the dies I used:
Butterfly Frame
Rose Leaves
Budding Vine

If you want to buy some dies from Die-Namites I got a great gift of 15% off you next purchase! Just use marina15 and you get 15% of at checkout! But this code is valid only till the end of February!
If you don't know - you can find us on Facebook Fans, Pinterest and Instagram with lots of inspiration! We will be very happy to see you as our friends!

Hope I can inspire you!

Marina.

Today our Guest Designer from So Suzy Design Team Chris Dayton prepare other wonderful and delicious creation to share with us. Welcome Chris Dayton from Stamp Junkies!

Hello everyone! Christ here with today's card. When I cut the "Heart Ribbon" die for the first time from white card stock, I immediately thought of the paper strip that peeks out from a Hershey's chocolate candy Kiss. I made a foil wrapped kiss by wrapping ordinary aluminum foil from my kitchen around a hand trimmed triangle shape. The ribbon die was trimmed and tucked inside of the foil. I used a red card base and layers of white and textured the Kraft colored card stock.

The sentiments were stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed. I used the Love sentiment in Black embossing powder and used the "you" from the Love You stamp in red embossing powder. I adhered my foiled kiss to the card using Glossy Accents.

Now its time for the creativity and we have a Guest Designer from So Suzy Design Team. She is very talented and recognized in Facebook. Welcome Chris Dayton from Stamp Junkies!
Hello friends, this is Chris Dayton and you can find me in Instagram or in Facebook! My rainbow bird card is made with the "Birds on a Wire" die. It was cut first with black card stock and adhered to a white card base. I die cut the birds out of various card stock scraps and trimmed out the bird bodies and attached them to the appropriate bird.
The "Sending a Note" sentiment form So Suzy Stamps was stamped in VersaFine black ink, and the music note was drawn in, using a black Copic Multi Liner Marker.
