A 4th of July Card "Let Freedom Ring"

I love this time of the year and creating for the 4th of July Celebration!

I have been thinking of home this week
and

Floral Water Can

I knew my mom would love a card made with this die cut.
I started with a standard white card base.
Used a woodgrain mask with stucco/gesso mixture.
Added some glimmer mist for brown tones.

I die cut two watering cans out of white cardstock.
One die cut-for the base which I colored with Chalk ink-tin can.
Other die cut-I fussy cut out the flowers and leaves.
I used glimmer mist to color leaves and glued down on the colored watering can.
Glued down the white flowers only in the centers to give depth.

Grabbed some flowers (blue and light yellow ones).
I used glimmer mist-chilli pepper red to color the light yellow flowers.
To give the red, white and blue theme for the flowers on the can. Love!
Added some twine and buttons
 and
a little title "let freedom ring"!

I want to wish you all a Happy 4th of July!!
Thanks for stopping by,
Peggy Lee
