"A Little Tag Art"

I have been inspired lately with tag art.
So, I couldn't resist anymore
I grabbed some chipboard and cut out a tag messured 4x6.
Coated it with gesso and with using a mixture of stucco/gesso
I used a mask to give the tag texture...

I used this adorable
Rosy Rose
Then I started using different colors of glimmer mist
with a fan brush scrapping
the top of the tag to create
I did the same steps on this little canvas mini shape
in green glimmer mist tones.
Also used the same step of stucco/gesso with the mask.
I glued the canvas piece to the tag.
Here is a close up of the Rosy Rose.
I decided to cut two of the rose dies out of buckram for the overlay
and one for the solid rose (this one I left the cut pieces in).
I used multi-medium matte to seal the cut layers together.
Cover the solid rose die cut with Glimmer Glam-Bordeaux, a beautiful pink!
I covered the overlay die cut with many different layers of color:
glimmer glam, glimmer mist
and then last with the brushed pewter stain!
ohhhhh love it...
I created a little dangle with beads, lace
vintage button (mother of pearl) my fav!!
Really loving this Die-Namites Rosy Rose Die,
here is a close up of the overlay layer.
Lastly, I added some wire, to able to hang my tag.

Thanks for stopping by today!
