A simple card for the holidays.

Hi, Taniesa here, bringing you a super fast, super simple card for the holidays that looks like you took a bunch of time. You might now I am pretty fond of the Berry Flower die-namite die. It has a beautiful spring summer feel to it and is so versatile. So much so that I decided to see if it could work as a Christmas design.

Here is the finished card. I made three cuts of the Berry Flower and stacked them to make a poinsettia.

I added some glitter detail to the flower with my Copic glitter red pen around the edges of two of the cuts and completely on the top piece. I then stacked them together and stuck a textured brad though for the center of the flower.

I added a large glue dot to the back of the flower and attached it to a band of green glitter cardstock. That piece went on to a iridescent white cardstock card base. For the finishing touch I took my green copic glitter pen around the edges and flicked a little bit of red and green spray ink at the top right corner and the bottom.

I hope you enjoyed my simple yet fun card for the holidays. I hope it will inspire you to create your own handmade cards this holiday season. Try using your die cuts in different ways then which they were intended, it might just surprise you and give you more out of your existing die shapes.
