Die-Namites Style "Christmas Card"

Oh yes I am starting to get into the Christmas mood-well it is July (Christmas in July) time!
I was flipping through some old scrapbook papers and scraps, when I saw the fabulous blue tones jump out at me and I was like oh wow I love this paper collection, so I began to dig all I had left out of the paper scraps....everyone loves Bo Bunny and their beautiful Holiday papers.

I knew that I had to use the "Scrolly Bird" on this card and the cutting began...of course I can't just cut one die out I had to pair the bird with this adorable "Dainty Daisies" die cut....with the soft and lushes white and blue tones....it screamed Christmas to me.

I started with a card base of a 4 1/4 x 12 piece of blue cardstock folded in half.
Then added layers of Bo Bunny papers and distressed the edges.
I used the Die-Namites Scrolly Bird and Dainty Daisies die cut out of the same papers...added some splashes of glimmer mist. I colored some seam binding with the
same glimmer mist to match the blue tones.
With looking in my stash found some Bo Bunny flowers to that matched the papers....glued a gem in the center, tucked in a seam binding bow...

Also found a Penny Black stamp in my stash..."celebrate the wonder" ....it looks like the bird is speaking it aloud....spreading holiday cheer!

I used one of the pieces from the Dainty Daisies die cutouts for a corner piece...see here.

With any mist you have, just unscrew the nozzle and splat away....
it adds really cool texture with glitz!

I wanted the die cuts to pop-I only added a tiny bit of glue to hold the die cuts onto the card front.
My little tip-look at your Die-Namites Dies not just what they are meant to be but look outside box and create your own artwork for any season.
Hope this card inspires you to dig out your dies for some creative play.
Thanks,
Peggy Lee
