Sending a Big Thank You - Design Team Member Susie

Susie here with my first post for Die-Namites.

I am super excited to share with you what I did with the Tulip Trio die.

Our dies are so intricate and cut perfectly.  And the price - beyond reasonable!  I am so thrilled to be part of this team!

I used the Tulip Trio die to cut a piece of black vinyl.  I used a metal shim, but a piece of card stock on top works well too.  Dies that are this intricate will usually need just a very thin shim for the best cutting results.

I adhered the vinyl to my white card stock and then colored in between the lines using Copic markers. And it's super easy to color inside the vinyl lines!

For the leaves I used YG22 and YG25.  For the tulips I used BG11, BG13, BG15 and BG18.

To finish my card I stamped my sentiment (from PaperTrey Ink) and then added some Washi tape to the bottom.  I matted my white card stock twice and then adhered it to my card base.

I added a few gems to give it just an extra punch.  A die this intricate and beautiful deserves a fresh and clean background.  I hope you like the way it turned out.

Stay tuned for lots more from our design team.  And I'll be back soon too!
