The last of our Die~Namites Design Team

Howdy folks....
Here is the last but not least Die~Namites Design Team Member...

Dunja D├╝cker

Hello :) My name is Dunja, I am 33 and live in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, Europe. I live here together with my darling. We have made, among other things, my hobby into a profession some years ago. It is great I can combine both.  :) I love to be creative.

Some years ago, I started the hobby of stamping and scrapbooking. It has so many possibilities, that's adorable. I love to work with Dies. My style is a bit vintage, a bit shabby, soft colors and I love sweet details. Whether there die cut items, rhinestones, beads, ribbons, lace and so on, without this I can not work :) I like doing different projects, such as cards, boxes, layouts, and I like it to pimp / altering things.

I am very proud to be working in this wonderful Designteam at Die-Namites.
I look forward to this exciting time and I hope that I can inspire you. :)

I'll see you soon, Much Love, Dunja

Day Three of DT reveal!

Day Three of our Design Team Reveal.

Please help me welcome
Lisa Tottle.

Hello, my name is Lisa Tottle, I live in Winnipeg, MB, Canada with my amazing husband Mike and our three beautiful children.  During the day I work full time as a business analyst in the financial industry, which is a far cry from my creative artistic side.  I was fortunate to be able to stay home with my children for a number of years, it was during this time that I started scrapbooking, it didn’t take long before I was hooked, and hoarding my supplies.  Over the years my style has evolved, techniques & trends have come and gone, but my ‘go to’ tools will always be my edge distressor and my dies.  For me working with dies opens a world full of endless opportunities and creative freedom.  I love finding new ways to use dies on my projects, whether it’s on scrapbook pages, cards or altered art.  I am very excited to join the Die-Namites team, and hope to inspire you all to get creative!

Meet our new Design Team....

All week long.....we will be introducing each of the
Die~Namites Design Team Members.

Today ....I would like you to meet....

My name is Susie Cannon Moore.  I am married to my soul mate Randall and between us we have five grown children - four boys and one girl.  We are also blessed to have five wonderful grandchildren, River, Izzy, Caleb, Paige & Andrew.
We live in a small country town – Maypearl, Tx.

I have been paper crafting all my life…but started scrapbooking seriously in 1998. My motto is, “A day without scrapbooking?  Not if I can help it”.
And I’ve tried to live by that all these years.

I love to scrapbook my family, make mini albums,
and card making is a passion I have embraced for years.

In May of 2011 I began a website devoted to crafting with dies.  It is the best of all worlds because I have been a die-aholic from the early Sizzix days. I post EVERY day and love sharing new projects with my wonderful readers.

Be sure to check out her blog.....

June Guest Desinger, Alice Carman Take 2!

Alice here to share take #2 on Die-Namites Cutting Dies. I'm really liking the different takes on these dies when I use them to make cards.  They are perfect in size for card making and they cut very nicely.  I used plates A, B and C with a metal shim in my Cuttlebug and they cut super nice.  It's a clean cut every time!

I used Tulip Trio on this card and filled the die image with different color card stock so the flower on the die can be seen.

I really like the silhouette look of this die and if you don't want to use card stock you could paint the inside and add glossy accent.  It will look like stain glass...I may try that!

I used Tree Full of Birds  on this card  and i added resin flowers so the colors on my card balanced.  I really like the little birdies from the die design.  You can also popped the birdies with another color if you desired and use the extra birdies on the card and pop them so they look like they are flying off the card.  Just a thought!
Thank you for following along today and a BIG THANK YOU to Die-Namtes for the opportunity to guest design for them and their generosity.

June Guest Designer, Alice Carman

Hello, I'm Alice Carman and I am super excited to be the June Guest Designer for Die-Namites Cutting Dies!  I adore making cards and as a card maker, dies are my #1 tool. When I was asked to Guest Design today, I was over the moon excited about using their product and I know you will too.

I used Scrolly Bird die to create this card.  To achieve this look I cut out a couple of colors of card stock using the Scrolly Bird die.  I used white for the outline of the bird.  Then I used hot pink and yellow for the inside of the bird.

Here's a close up of what I did.

I used Daisy Vine for my next card I added a few Petaloo flowers so they pop right off the page. I really like the vines and you can use these with any other flower embellishments.

Thanks so much for visiting today and I'll be back on the 19th to share a few more cards I created using Die-Namites Cutting Dies!

"You are in my thoughts" with Butterflies

Hello everyone,  Peggy Lee here!
My amazing and talented friend, Lynne
asked me to create a little goodie to share with you all.

6x6 Easel Card
Card base is using black cardstock 6x12
Front base is 6x6 of Canvas Corp E-Flute in Brown
and
Handmade papers in Ivory and Demask velvet.

Added some texture to the edges
with a Prima demask mask with stucco and gesso mixed together.

Side view shows the beautiful bridal netting I incased over the top
of the card to give a shabby feel.

I choose to create with this awesome
I cut two butterfly pieces out of olde dictionary book pages.
Coated them with multi-medium matte
to give strenght to the piece.
I cut out the butterfly
to lay over bottom piece to give depth.

Here is the lovely die...

I couldn't resist using my new Petaloo flowers that I bought last week,
the color tones and textures were a  perfect fit with this card.
