Spring is almost here with Guest Designer Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends! My name is Irit Shalom and I am an Israeli artist.
(mostly on my spare time as in my real life I am a working dentist/Mom/Grandmother/Wife, not is this particular order)
Today I post my guest designer post on Die- Namites blog.
I was  really honored when I was asked to make a couple of projects with Die- Namites gorgeous dies. And when I got those dies  I knew I am in love with them forever!
All  dies that I received are nature inspired, so it was just natural to make this Spring project and to use as many die cuts as possible. How many? I didn't count, but it's like 30 cuts at least, most probably more.
I decided to make an altered canvas and to show how we can use  scrap paper die cuts to make our textured backgrounds over this canvas.

Here is my finished canvas: lots and lots of layers of Die-Namites die cuts with some extra tissue papers, mesh nets and Wycinanka garden window.

All paints over this altered piece are mists from Lindy's Stamp Gang only and some pearls from FWAB.
Some die cuts were separated into parts and this is the way I made those 3d flowers or got butterflies.
As you can see the whole structure was made by adding more and more die cuts under and over the window frame and by arranging  them to this spring scene.

Here is a list of dies I used for this canvas project:

I hope I inspired you a bit and I want to thank  Die- Namites team for the chance to make this post and to play with those gorgeous dies.
