My Take on March Sketch Challenge - Tonya Gibbs

Have you submitted your March Sketch Challenge entry? What are you waiting for? The month is half way over, don't let time get away.

Here is this month’s sketch.....
The Dare for March was use Purple!
The sketch below can be interpreted as a card, layout or altered piece! You need to use at least one Die~Namites Die in your creation.
Here is my take on the sketch....

I used the new March release Fragile Flowers - DN-1165 for my card's focal point.

The flowers were colored with Tim Holtz' distress markers in Mustard Seed, Concord Grape, and Shabby Shutters.  Then for added texture I polished the flowers with clear glitter nail polish.

Please visit the challenge page for contest rules and submission details.

A random winner will be chosen from eligible participants for a $25 Gift Certiļ¬cate to Die~Namites Dies.
I can't wait to see your take on the challenge.

Good luck!
Tonya Gibbs

  1. Beautiful, Tonya! Love the breath of spring that your card brings. The deep purple is gorgeous!

  2. Beautiful card! Do you know if the challenge requires a blog or can you enter through a photo gallery like flickr?

    1. As long as you can reference the Die-namites information that is required in the image description, and can link directly to the image on our blog, than you are fine.

  3. Absolutely gorgeous! Love the touch of glitter.
