Spring Blossoms get a New Look

Hello Everyone!

Lee Ann here, back again with the Spring Blossoms Die~Namites Die.  I was planning on doing something different today, but this die kept calling me, LOL; have you ever had that happen to you?  I just knew I wanted to use it for an Asian themed project; I could see it in my head- black, red and gold.

When it came to actually putting it all together, I was a bit stumped, so I went looking for inspiration.  I found this beauty on Pinterest (gotta love Pinterest!)~

From there, I had a plan.  I started by hand cutting a mountain mask and sponged on pink ink for my background.  Next, I cut the Spring Doily Die~Namites Die and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.  I cut it into fourths and adhered two pieces to opposite corners.

I cut the Spring Blossoms Die~Namites Die in black and then cut the flowers out two times in red.

The first layer of red flowers were adhered onto to black die cut blooms.  The second layer of flowers were molded and then adhered on top of the first layer of red blooms.  Pearls were added for flower centers.

I stamped my birds and sentiment and then added a little bit of the Spring Blossoms branch and flowers to the top right corner as well, for balance.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope I have inspired you to get your Die~Namites Dies out and create!

Lee Ann  :)
