the Die~Namites Monthly Challenge!

Entry #1 YOU MUST....use at least one Die~Namites Die in your creation.
Entry #2 USE the sketch! It can be interpreted (loosely or exactly)
as a card, layout or altered piece!
Entry #3 INCORPORATE the dare into your creation.

Each participant will receive one entry into our random drawing
for their level of participation in the challenge.

You have until the last day of the month to post your creation on your blog,
with mention of the Die~Namites Die used and a link back to the Die~Namites Dies blog.
Link your blog post, using Inlinkz, to the Die~Namites Die blog.

A random winner will be chosen from eligible participants for a
$25 Gift Certificateto the Die~Namites Dies.

Design Team Member Tonya Gibbs has

created an AMAZING sketch for us to work with!

April Showers bring May Flowers - so we thought it would be fun to have
this month's Dare to be a Handmade Flower.

Here is my take on May's Sketch Challenge & Dare for Die~Namites!!!
I knew from the sketch this would make a great idea for creating a
Mother's Day Card.

I knew right away I wanted to use Die~Namites Die "Mom's Nest" die
for my card...so I cut it apart.
I cut the momma bird and nest full of birdies
away from the branches and leaves.
Colored them with Distress Inks from Ranger, tucked
them in behind the handmade flower. Which
is also a Die~Namites Die "Elegant Flake" cut three times,
colored with Prima's chalk ink in Teal Damask.
I loved stacking them on top of another!!
To create the Dare "Handmade Flower" with a die image...so fun!
Here are the Dies I used for my card.

Moms Nest

and

Elegant Flake

It's a great way to get usage for stretching your die images,
cut them apart...and tuck in around the flower.

Added texture to the Mother bird and babies...
with some Distress Stickles in Rock Candy.
And a Liquid Pearls-Bisque for a little bird eye...love it.

I grabbed some new papers from Close To My Heart
called Skylark Paper Packets with the Skylark Assortment Embellishments.
As well as the stamp set called
A Mother's Love by CTMH.
Added a paper doily, cheese cloth and seam binding to the card....

Here are some close ups!!!
Enjoy the gazing upon the Die~Namites Dies!!!!

Thanks for stopping by,
 don't forget to play along!!
hugs
Peggy Lee

  3. Gorgeous. Love how you made the snowflake into a flower. It's a Wow. So we can enter using any of the three categories? You don't have to use all three at the same time? What do you mean by 'Each participant will receive one entry into our random drawing for their level of participation in the challenge' If you use all three on one project do you get 1 or three entries? I liked the sketch with the dare and that you have to use a die-namites die. Hope this gets some more players

    1. YOU MUST use a Die~Namites die.....but it is your choice if you want to use the sketch and/or the dare.....one entry per Die~Namites Die....one entry for sketch....one entry for dare....HOPE that clarifies things!!
