Thankful for You

Hello Everyone!
We all know there are times when we need a card quickly and do not have the time
to spend hours on our artwork.  Today's card is quick and easy, but still has all the
elegance of a elaborate card; all you need are a couple of Die~Namites dies to get
the look and embellish your image.

I used my new Summer Branch die and, stepping a bit out of my comfort zone, used some patterned paper,  cut two of the branches, and laid them end to end ( trimming a few branches so there was not too much overlap).

The branches were layered onto some color coordinating and embossed cardstock, creating a base for my collage style card. Next, I punched a scalloped edge from patterned paper and added it to the edge of the cardstock.

I wanted to give my card more elegance and pizzazz; I found a piece of the Spring Doily
die cut that had been embossed with gold ep laying on my desk. I noticed how
the edges of the doily resembled gold braiding.

I decided to trim the edge from the piece of embossed Spring Doily and then cut it into 3 pieces.  These pieces were used as a gold scalloped edge behind my Summer Branches and blue scalloped edge.

My bird image was watercolored and fussy cut out; he got a bit lost in the patterned paper, so I used a portion of the gold center circle of the Spring Doily to anchor the bird.

That is it!  I stamped my sentiment and adhered everything to my card base.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope I have inspired you to look at your dies differently!
