Quick & Simple Father's Day Card by Peggy Lee

Good morning everyone, today I wanted to share with you all a quick and simple Father's Day Card. I decided to use the adorable Die~Namites Die "Winter Fir" as my focal point for my card.
I feel that when I see a huge strong full tree it reminds me of my father who was a strong, faithful, caring person who loved all his children and others...he would do anything for them.
So I dedicate this card to the memory of my father George Tilley Sr.

I used this Die~Namites Die
Winter Fir
I cut the die out of white card stock, grabbed my Distress Stains in Forest Moss and Bundled Sage. I colored over a few times dried with a my heat tool in between color layers.
My card base was cut at 6 x 7, Kraft card stock.
Distressed the edges of the paper layers, nestled them on top of each other.
Fussy cut out the rulers out of the paper collection and stacked them.
To give lift to the die cut tree...I popped it up in places.

To all Father's I would love to wish you all a Happy Father's Day coming in a few weeks.
I want to encourage you to look at your dies outside the normal use for the image...I have been thinking that this Die~Namites Die "Winter Fir" and the paper collections would make a great mini album!!
Thanks for stopping in today,
hugs
Peggy Lee
