What's the Buzz? Lee Ann Barrett

Hello Again, Everyone!

Happy Summer to you all!  School is out and summer fun is on the agenda!  I for one am thrilled to get a bit of R and R.
I had so much fun playing with the new summer Die~Namites dies.  I could not wait to give the new Buzzin Around Die~Namites Die a try.

Paper piecing is the bulk of the card.  I paid particular attention to those darling bees,
using vellum for the wings.  The bees themselves are colored with Copics and
pieced together. I fussy cut vellum to fill in the wings and adhered it to the back of the
main wing 'frame'.  While I am not one for too much glitter, these wings seemed
to be made for glitter, so they got a generous portion of it!

Pearls colored with Copics were perfect for the bee's head.
And don't you just love those vellum bee 'trails'??!

The flowers were cut twice and the top one was given a coat of glimmer with
a Wink of Stella pen.  The top petal piece was popped up on a
dimensional.  Two punched circles make the flower centers.

The leaves are die cut using another brand new toy, the Small Ivy Die~Namites Die.
I used more glitter on the leaves (gasp!) and tucked them in amongst the flowers.

Some bright, sunny designer paper, honeycomb embossing folder and
paper doily finish off this happy, cheery card!

I used this month's sketch for my card.  Hope you can play along.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope I have inspired you to create today!
