Hello Everyone!

What a fun time I had using both my Die~Namites Dies and Canvas Corp products to make my mixed media card.  The girls teased me because I actually tried to get a little messy!

I started with a Skinny Card from Canvas Corp; LOVE this larger size as you can do so much with it.  And yes, it even comes with its own envelope!  Next, for my background panel, and got out a new and never used
Crafter's Workshop stencil, Cherry Blossoms.  I first sponged a pale yellow ink over the stencil,
then spritzed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, in Sunflower, for an awesome glow.
.

My flower was made using Die~Namites Winter Sunflower Die.  I cut it out from Canvas Corp Yellow and White MiniDot Reverse cardstock and backed it with white cs.  I cut the Winter Sunflower a second time from Tattered Angels Pure Mistable Paper- Boucle in Cream- and then misted it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Stone.  Lastly, I sponged the edges in gray ink and slightly molded the leaf edges.

My sentiment is stamped and heat embossed on Tattered Angels Mistable Papers- Corduroy and layered over the stenciled background.  The flower was adhered to the right lower corner.

I added foliage to the background using the new Small Ivy Die~Namites Die
And Knobby Branch Die~Namites Die.

I cut a few of the Small Ivy leaves from some Canvas Corp Canvas and tucked
them in amongst the other leaves.

Lastly, I added some berries to my twigs, using Canvas Corp Home Basics Cord in Yellow.

I hope I have inspired to get crafty today and maybe even try to get a bit messy!  :)

This is my last post with Die~Namites.  It has been a pleasure to design with their gorgeous dies, to work with such an amazing team and to share with you!  Thanks so much!

  9. Love the yellow and grey color combo!! Gorgeous card. Congrats on breaking out and getting messy. Isn't it liberating? Kinda like leaving dishes in the sink, or your clothes on the floor or your bed unmade...not that I would do any of that ;) Here's to pretty cards, like yours, and lived in homes!! TFS!
