Christmas is in the Air...... Blog Hop !!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to our US Die~Namites Fans!
WELCOME to Day Four of our .....

Susie here to share a fun and funky take on a Christmas card, thanks to our friends over at Viva Las VegaStamps! I was inspired by this line in the well known poem, "A Visit from St. Nicholas":
"...The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow, Gave the luster of mid-day to objects below..."
These are the dies I used to create the card:

I started with  piece of white cardstock and then blended inks to create the background:  A dark blue at the top and around the edges and then a warm yellow in the center for the "moonlight".
Next I cut out my trees using the Winter Fir die...
...and layered them...
....before adding Stickles to make the "snow" glisten!
I used the Whimsical Moon Face stamp from the Viva Las VegaStamps Plate 1448.  I stamped the image in black ink and heat embossed.  I colored the pupils of his eyes a light blue and then covered them with Glossy Accents, so the whites of his eyes would stay white when I added the rest of the color to his smiling face!
Before I trimmed him out, I reinforced the "stems" on the top of his head by adding thin metallic tape on the back side.  I also added an Action Wobble - just another bit of whimsy for this card!
Here is a close up of the Bitty North Pole die cut.
It is layered and Stickled just like the trees.
"Happy Christmas to all, And to all a good night!"

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find some time to play today!  Susie
