Funky Christmas Mouse Card with Susie Bentz

Susie here today sharing another funky Christmas card using Die~Namites Dies and a Viva Las Vegas stamp:
This is the die I used to create the card:
I was inspired to play along with December's Sketch and Dare Challenge:
The dare this month is to use something metallic so I reached for my roll of metallic duct tape and adhered about a 4.5" strip onto some white cardstock. I used the Ornaments Branch die to cut the silvered cardstock:
I also cut some sparkly red vinyl...
...and layered them together to create this little gem!
I set my tiny ornament aside and started on the base of the card.
I stamped the Whimsical Rat directly onto kraft cardstock and created a mask.
I also stamped a sentiment across the bottom of the cardstock.  The original stamp says:
T'was the night before Christmas and all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
They's been worn all week and needed the air.
I did not want to use the last 2 lines for this card, so after I inked the stamp
I used a couple of pieces of washi tape to cover up the unwanted text.
Next I put the mask on top of the rat and stenciled a design in green onto the card.
I rotated the stencil a little and used a second shade of green ink:
When I removed the mask, the original stamped image was completely clean - as planned!
I colored his little vest red and added the metallic ornament to his little paws:
I layered the kraft cardstock onto corrugated paper and added washi tape and rhinestones.
Here's another look at the finished card:
