Guest Desinger Libeeti - ombre effect

Hi again, it's Libeeti with my last post as a Guest Designer for April.
Today I'd like to share with you an ombre effect with my dies.
I used Portfolio oil pastels on piece of scrap, with several colors, and then smeared them to mix them together. Then I die-cut the painted cs with two dies
an easy peasy way to get die-cuts with an ombre effect.
I did some in reddish-yellowish colors and some in greenish color.
Here are the reddish ones:
Don't  you think they can make a great accent on an autumn project?
And here are the greenish ones:
Perfect for a spring or even summer projects.

I hope you're inpired to play with yout Die-namites dies and colors. Do remember to clean your dies after using them, so your next project won't get painted :).
Thank you for being with me today, and a big Thank You to Lynne and Die~Namites Dies, for having me as a Guest Designer this months.
You're always welcome to visit my blog HERE.

Guest Designer Libeeti - adding touches to layouts

Hello to you all, it's Libeeti again, your Guest Designer for April :)
Today I wanted to share with you some close-ups on layouts I've created, where I used Die-namites' dies to add that extra touch.
Here you can see how I've used two different dies,
Leafy Branch (DN-1046) and Bare Branch (DN-1091),
with different colors, as a foliage for my felt and paper flowers:
The leaves die-cuts were sprayed with two mists and then a few touches of distress stain. After it was dry, I added  touches of glitter for a bit of sparkle.

You can see the full layout on my blog - HERE.
On the 2nd lo I want to share with, I used the Floral Corner die (DN-1019) and left the die-cut cs plain white, and added tiny half pearls to the swirls:

You can see the full layout on my blog - HERE.
Thank you for being with me here and have a wonderful day :).

Guest Designer Libeeti - So Excited for You (a card)

Hi, it's Libeeti here and I'm so happy to be a Guest Designer here :)
Today I would like to share with you a card I've made,

What I love about Die-namites dies is that you can use them with different materials. This way, you can achieve different texture and look for your projects.
Using this die, I cut a piece of chipboard, so now I had my homemade designed chipboard. Make sure you run your die-cut machine several times, so that the chipboard is cut perfectly (depending on how thick is the chipboard you're working with).
I applied gesso to the die-cut chipboard and then worked with TH distress ink. then I used embossing ink on several parts of the chipboard and heat embossing with a blue embossing powder. after that, I slightly gave touches of gesso here and there. I really love how it turned out!
Here are a few close-ups on the details:

You can see more close-ups and read some details on my blog HERE.
Thank you so much for stopping by! be crafty and enjoy life!

An Eastercard with BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS

Hi Die~Namites Friends, a late happy Easter to you all.
Hope you've enjoyed the time with your loved ones? :)

I have some inspiration for you today. It's an easter card
and i used one of the amazing Die's from Die~Namites

Beautiful Flowers

I wiped the edges with the Chalk Edgers White from Ingvild Bolme.
After that t crumpled the edges. It's a great shabby effect and I love it.
Do you like it too?

I haven't glued the complete die cuts, but only partially.
This allows a more diverse arrangement of flowers.
It's a great effect, is not it?

Thank you so much for stopping by today.
Make sure you'll come back on Thursday (latest)
to see our incredible Blog Hop for Mom's :))

See you soon, Much Love, Dunja xo

Happy Easter Canvas by Peggy Lee

Hello everyone, on this Saturday morning!!
Peggy Lee here to share with you a little
Happy Easter 6x6 Canvas
I followed the sketch this month see below...I decided to use this amazing fun die by
Wet Tulips
Not only did I use the positive part of the die.....
I also used the negative part for the flowers around the tree trunk.
I decided to play along with this months Sketch & Dare Challenge, more details here.

Design Team Member ~  Tonya Gibbs created an
AMAZING sketch for us to work with!
I used this sketch as my creative inspiration board for my little canvas...I started with a 6x6 piece
of card board, adhered two or three layers of crinkled up tissue paper...
Painted the tissue paper with gesso.
Added some more texture using The Crafters Workshop-Mini Ledger Stencil.
Grabbed different colors of mists...to create a water color effect.
added a little stamping!
Now I have a little Easter Decoration to adorn my home...or gift!!
Thanks for stopping by today,
I wish you all a
Happy Easter Weekend!
hugs,
Peggy Lee
