Then cut out another piece of pattern paper and embossed it, popped it up on top of Kraft piece.
Inked the edges as well....also the Challenge to the Sketch was to use something blue...
I cut a banner piece out of pattern paper, then using Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Vintage Photo...

Added some vintage music sheet and stamp sentiment is from CTMH
stamp set, ripped edges and inked them in Vintage Photo Distress ink.

Christmas In July by Tonya Gibbs

Welcome to Christmas in July!
Have you checked them out yet?  Warning -  Your gonna want them all!

Today I'm spotlighting this lovely Holiday Angel die.

I love to create one layer cards for Christmas, because
they need to be mailed. But when I do a one layer card, I want it to pack a punch!

I cut my diecut from double sided tape, then used this
Deco Foil from Therm-O-Web.

Look at all these yummy colors that will give
your cards some pizzazz  this holiday season.

Since chalkboards are super trendy this year, I wanted to create
a chalkboard effect for my sentiment. This will give my cards an
unique look for each one I create.

Here is a process video showing you how I created this card.

I hope you are inspired by all these yummy Christmas dies available at Die-namites.
Check back tomorrow to see what Peggy has for us.

Don't forget that if you create something with your Die-namites  Dies,
please make sure to #DieNamiteDies  in your social media outlets
so that we can see what you create.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Merry Christmas to YOU!!!

Thank you for stopping by to see my
Christmas in July creation featuring

I LOVE making Christmas Cards
but I have a tendency to be
the ultimate procrastinator!
But I'm ahead of my game this year….
(or a least the design is finalized)

I used two dies from Die~Namites Dies New Release

and the

I cut the Bitty Star Ornament from
Canvas Corp Brands ~ Lime Green on White paper
Canvas Corp Brands ~  Red on White paper

I then painted the die cut Bitty Star Ornament
with Tattered Angels ~ Glam Glitter Paint ~ Organic Garden
and the
Tattered Angels ~ Glam Glitter Paint ~ Camel
to add a little bling to my ornaments.
Then I strung a piece of jute
and hung my ornaments using
Canvas Corp Brands ~ Mini Clothespins ~ Natural.

I tried DESPERATELY to create a CLEAN card
but I just couldn't do it.
I had to distress the edges of the
Canvas Corp Brands ~ Greeting Card ~ Kraft and the
Canvas Corp Brands ~ Red & Green Pin Dot on White paper and apply
Tattered Angels ~ Glam Glitter Paint ~ Camel
around all the edges.
I spritzed the paint with water to help it move around the card.
A stamped MERRY CHRISTMAS sentiment
and my card is good to go!

Here is my "CLEAN" card....

Rock Star Layout by Tonya Gibbs

One of the most essential aspects of die cutting with Die~Namites Dies is the paper you use. Canvas Corp Brands, which includes Canvas Corp, Tattered Angels and 7Gypsies, has plenty of papers to choose from.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Canvas Corp Brands for their generosity to the Die~Namites Design Team. Our kits consisted of Canvas Corp Printed Cardstock, Tattered Angels Mistable Papers, a bottle of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Glaze, along with other goodies.

will receive their very own Canvas Corp Brands Kit
along with a $25 Gift Certificate to Die~Namites Dies.
Make sure to stop by everyday and leave a comment!

Hi everyone Happy Saturday!  I hope everyone had a great time seeing projects from our Team this week with Die-Namites, Canvas Corp and Tattered Angels products.  I know I have been inspired all week!   Today I'm sharing a masculine mixed media layout that I have created of my Nephew, Cooper. He recently started taking guitar lessons, and a few weeks ago he was showing off his skills.

I used the following products from Canvas Corp & Tattered Angels
in my layout to create the grunge effect.

Red & White Reversed Dots Paper
Mini Clothes Pin Red
Pure Mistable: Patten Leather
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist: Marmalade

Just look at all that yummy texture I created with just mediums!   All you need are a few colors, some stencils and a little Whipped Spackle!

I love to look at my dies and think of ways to use them other than their intended purpose. Like I did with these Heart Doily Die and the Spring Grass Die from Die-Namites.    Let's start with the Heart Doily die.

 Heart Doily Die

I used the Heart Doily in 3 different ways on this layout. First as a stencil to add to my grunge background.   Then I used the hearts that were in the negative space and drew little flags on them to mimic music notes.  Thirdly,  I tucked the other piece of the die around the photo to give a layer of depth.

I was inspired to use the Spring Grass die as flames around my photo by a sticker I found in the scrap pile.  I trimmed away the eggs from the die, and tucked it around the photo.

Here is a process video of me creating this layout.

I had so much fun working with these products. I love the finished look of the layout, and the Pure Mistable papers are FAB for your mixed media layouts. I hope that I have given you a few extra ways to look at your dies.  Don't forget to share you projects with us in Social Media outlets using #DieNamiteDies   we would love to see your creations.

Thank you so much for stopping in today.

A Sunny Hello

Today is Day Five of a weeklong blog hop with
Canvas Corp Brands and Die~Namites Dies.

Hello Everyone!

What a fun time I had using both my Die~Namites Dies and Canvas Corp products to make my mixed media card.  The girls teased me because I actually tried to get a little messy!

I started with a Skinny Card from Canvas Corp; LOVE this larger size as you can do so much with it.  And yes, it even comes with its own envelope!  Next, for my background panel, and got out a new and never used
Crafter's Workshop stencil, Cherry Blossoms.  I first sponged a pale yellow ink over the stencil,
then spritzed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, in Sunflower, for an awesome glow.

My flower was made using Die~Namites Winter Sunflower Die.  I cut it out from Canvas Corp Yellow and White MiniDot Reverse cardstock and backed it with white cs.  I cut the Winter Sunflower a second time from Tattered Angels Pure Mistable Paper- Boucle in Cream- and then misted it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Stone.  Lastly, I sponged the edges in gray ink and slightly molded the leaf edges.

My sentiment is stamped and heat embossed on Tattered Angels Mistable Papers- Corduroy and layered over the stenciled background.  The flower was adhered to the right lower corner.

I added foliage to the background using the new Small Ivy Die~Namites Die
And Knobby Branch Die~Namites Die.

I cut a few of the Small Ivy leaves from some Canvas Corp Canvas and tucked
them in amongst the other leaves.

Lastly, I added some berries to my twigs, using Canvas Corp Home Basics Cord in Yellow.

I hope I have inspired to get crafty today and maybe even try to get a bit messy!  :)

This is my last post with Die~Namites.  It has been a pleasure to design with their gorgeous dies, to work with such an amazing team and to share with you!  Thanks so much!

Guest Designer ~ Misty Russell

Today we have Canvas Corp Brands Design Team Member, Misty Russell
joining us for Day Four of our blog hop!

Misty here to share a card and a wall hanging I created with the beautiful die-namite dies and canvas corp products...

First up is a simple card I made using the Die~Namites Die butterfly frenzy die.  I love the lacey look it created when I continued the pattern up the card.  For the base of of the card I used tattered angels mistable satin paper and misted it with pumpkin spice and twinkle yellow glimmer mist.

For the base of of the card I used tattered angels mistable satin paper and misted it with pumpkin spice and twinkle yellow glimmer mist.

Next up is a wall hanging...

To make the vase I used the Leather Strap specialty paper from Canvas Corp,  it has such a fun texture to it like real leather.

I used both the small and large ivy dies from the new release and I absolutely love them!
They were perfect fillers for the flowers making them look nice and full.

The background was created using the butterfly frenzy die as a stencil to create some fun texture!
