Birthday Blog Hop with Annmarie Colbert

Welcome to Day Five of our Birthday Themed Blog hop
featuring Die~Namites Dies 16 newly released dies.

Today we will be inspired by DT member Annmarie Colbert.

Hello all my crafty friends, I would like to wish each of you a very Happy New Year. Today I want to share a super easy Birthday card I created using the Party Hat DN-1272 die.

http://www.die-namites.com/Party-Hat_p_281.html#
The card base measures 4 ¼” by 5 ½” and was embossed with fun happy birthday embossing folders. For the Birthday Hat, I first cut it in white card stock and then glued it to a piece of scrap cardstock and cut around it. Then I cut out the die in red, blue, yellow and silver glitter card stock. I saved all pieces and started gluing them to the template I created.

For the sentiment, I first  punched out 5 banners from a small punch I have and stamped each letter out to spell happy on the banner pieces and glued them to a piece of twine. I then added the birthday sentiment to the bottom of the card.

We will be randomly choosing
One GRAND PRIZE winner
of a
$50 Gift Certificate
and  Five ~ $10 Gift Certificates Winners.
