Sweet Owl Card by Annmarie Colbert

Hello everyone, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I wanted to share a cute card I created using some Die-Namite Dies.
 The card measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4"

I began with cutting the top layer of cream stock 5" x 5" and used a corner punch on each of the 4 corner.  Although the Festive Owl DN-1228 is more of a Christmas theme die, I decided to use it for a spring card and cut the owls away from the poinsettia vine. I cut the owls out 3 times and glued each layer until I got the look I was looking. I added some stickles to give more details to the owls.
I then cut out 3 of the Spring Blossoms Die DN-1150 and colored them with some colored pencils. I arranged the branches on the card and nestled the owns in the branches.

  1. I love this owl die. Made a card the other day and didn't really want the holly leaves but couldn't find a way around that. Yours is a great solution. May have to get that other die as well. TFS. Hugz
