Oh, Hello!

Hi everyone, happy Sunday!!! Martha Lucia here to share with you my first creation using our wonderful Sketch and Dare of the month. Have you seen it yet?

I love to use flowers and luckily, Die-Namites has a lot of die cuts with beautiful flowers. Some come with leaves and others come alone, just like the one I am using. It is call Rosy Rose and her design is completely lineal. So I decided, first to make embossing with this over a piece of cardstock, then cut in silhouette with my scissors and gave a little touch of color using copic markers. Then I cut the Rosy Rose, using a different tone of cardsock and pasted over the embossing piece.

For the leaves, I cut twice the the Large Ivy die cut using Basic Gray cardstock and with my hand I curved a little some leaves.

Before I pasted all the die cuts over the cardstock, I stamped some distressed images from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set by Stampin Up using Daffodil Delight Classic Ink and with the same color of baker's twine I created some doodles to complement the sketch.
My sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo black Ink and it's from the stamp set Oh, Hello.

I pasted everything on my card using double sided foam tape to give my project more dimension and create a great effect over the flower.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and I would love to have you visit my blog Stampartpapel HERE and have you as a friend, follower and subscriber to my social media avenues: Facebook FansPinterestYouTubeInstagramTwitter and Flickr.

Thank you for stopping by today and have a happy summer!!!
