Spring Window used for Fall

Hello dear friends, it's a pleasure to share my post today with you!

I created this card at the beginning of the month for our October Challenge. Do you remember it ?

In this card I used two different die cuts to create my layout. The main one is Spring Window, a very cute die cut that shows a cat in a window. I cut this in Whisper White card stock and used the negative part to create the sunset background over other piece of whisper white card stock that I used as a second layer.

To create the sunset I used Distress Ink in four different tones: Gathered Twigs, Mowed Lawn, Spiced Marmalade and Rusty Hinge from Tim Holtz, from the bottom up. Then I pasted the die cut Spring Window using dimensionals. I cut the Bamboo Sticks on Early Espresso card stock, separated the branches in two parts and pasted them under the window using some glue dots.  I stamped a sentiment using Cajun Craze Classic Ink.

You have the rest of the week to create your project and participate in our October Challenge. You can use this image and inspiration and you will have the opportunity to win a $25 Gift Card from our store. You can link your project HERE and share with us your creativity.

Have a great week and comeback tomorrow that Marina will be sharing a beautiful creation with us!

  1. I do remember it and loved it. I was tempted to use the same window die but decided since you did yours so beautifully mine would not be as well done. I really love your outside view of the window card.
