Mixed Media Pocket Letter by Susanne

Hi my dear Die-Namites Friends.

My entry for this month's challenge was this colorful artsy Pocket Letter. I'd like to show you some more details on this work today. I used the maple leaves stamps from Rubber Dance together with watercolors to color the background. The leaves were embossed with white powder which acts as a resist to the watercolors. I gave it some texture with some background stamping and stenciling.

After I cut the whole page into 9 Pocket Letter cards I embellished each card individually. I used the following dies from Die-Namites on my letter:

Wavy Vase
Spring Doily
Hanging Grapes
I have a 15% discount  for you to use with your next order over at the Die-Namites Dies Online Store. Use susanne15 during the checkout process. By the way: you'll get free shipping on all orders over 25$ worldwide!!!

The Hanging Grapes are covered with Distress Embossing Powder "Peeled Paint" and "Dusty Concord". I adhered the parts of the Spring Doily with Distress Crackle Paint "Clear Rock Candy". That gives it a special look.

I colored the Wavy Vase with Distress Inks (Dusty Concord, Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Wild Honey)

Our monthly challenge will run until November 30, 2015 (11:55pm Eastern Time) and there will be a SPOTLIGHT feature of our Top 3 Favorites on December 15. Any style and all levels are welcome! Among the Top 3 favorites, there will be a random draw for a lucky and talented winner who will then receive the top prize.

Here is our inspirational photo. Enter our challenge here.

I hope you like my Pocket Letter. See you next time, happy crafting!
Susanne.
