More Fall Challenge Inspiration

Hello, Crafty Friends!!
I have another inspirational card to share with you today and also a quick reminder that there's still time to get those November challenge entries in!!

This month's challenge can be found here.
Here is a look at the inspirational photo of the month...

I love the reflective elements in this picture. The glistening light inspired me to incorporate reflective foil/metallic cardstock as my focal point.

I used this gorgeous Heart Branch as my main focal point and created my card using fall colors and textures.

I  cut the Heart Branches out of gold foil paper and airbrushed the bottom of the stalks in a darker orange color. I used alcoho; inks while airbrushing over the foil so the color lays down translucent and still maintains all the shine.

I backed it with burlap panel to give it a harvest /fall feel to the card. I also grouped the branches together and tied a bow around them. They kind of remind me of stalks of wheat.

then I added flowers to the center of my bow and topped them with seed beads.

And there you have it... a simple and elegant card that automatically draws your attention to the heart branches and gold foil.

Don't forget to post your challenge projects on the original post for your chance to enter this month's challenge!!
