ATC with Easel Card-"winter bullfinch-love one another"

Hello everyone, I can't believe that February is almost over!
Where did this month go...all I know I am so ready
for winter to be over or at least the bitter cold weather to leave.
With winter hanging on it got me thinking
of nature and the winter birds...

I decided to create a tiny
ATC with Easel Card
"winter bullfinch-love one another"
it turned out so stinking cute!!!

I used two of my favorite dies....
Bullfinch
and
Winter Branch

I grabbed a few supplies and started to
create the ATC card and easel!
Here is the measurements for it...

ATC  Card
cut a card stock piece
2 1/2 x 3 1/2

Easel Card Base
cut a piece of card stock
2 1/2 x 7
score at 1 3/4 x 3 1/2
fold on lines

Cut your pattern papers just slightly smaller,
distressed the edges with distressing
tool and distress inks.
Grabbed the scraps of  paper to die cut out
the Die~Namites Dies "Winter Branch"
and the "Bullfinch"...(now I die cut out each of
different papers, fussy cut out bird and cut
apart branches off .
Added some netting and jute cord with
tiny pine cones...and that's it...LOVE IT!

Hope I have inspired you to grab a
few scraps and make your own ATC
with Easel card with your Die~Namites Dies..

Thanks for stopping by,
hugs

A Casual Hello

Hey crafty friends, It's Tyra and I wanted to share a few cards created using one of my favorites, Five Petal Flowers and Jack & Jill Flowers.

I'm also using a kit from the fabulous Clique Kits which makes creating these cards easy! I don't have to worry about coordinating colors. I just get out my favorite die, cut and coordinate.  It's that easy! Let's get to the cards!

The stripes and flowers  and shades of pink and teal remind me of a warmer nautical climate, which sounds great right about now! (It's below zero in my neck of  the woods).  I hope I have inspired you to create today.  Thanks so much for stopping by the blog! xo, Tyra

Project Life style Easter with Susie Bentz

Hello and welcome!
Susie here today with a super cute Project Life style page with an Easter theme!

These are the dies I used to create this project:

I started by using the Spring Egg Scene die to emboss a Project Life sized card.
Next I cut the Spring Egg Scene die out of black cardstock.
I like to use lots of tiny dots of glue on the back to hold all the intricate little bits in place.
I really like the inlaid look you get with this technique!
But wait!  There's More!
Turn the card over and you see this on the reverse side:

I used green ink to highlight the detail.

I used the same die to cut a frame out of black cardstock and layered them together.
I added a few pieces of bling and Voila!  Here is a view of both sides of the card!
I put the card in a pocket on the outside edge and flipped it so that the
Easter Bunny is "looking" at that adorable picture of my niece!
(Or maybe she is looking at him!)
I created another card in purple, and this time I used the side with the black silhouette.
Again, it is positioned on the outside edge of  the page and "looks" in to the pictures.
I used the Spring Egg Scene die to cut 2 more frames from black cardstock.
I backed one with pink cardstock to create a journaling block and plan on journaling later!
I pieced the Spring Grass die with different colored cardstock"eggs".
I love all the different looks I was able to get out of one die!

Here's a look at the other Project Life cards I made for this page:

Easter falls on April 5th this year - use Die-namite Dies to create your own Spring Scene!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find some time to play today!  Susie

Sweet Owl Card by Annmarie Colbert

Hello everyone, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I wanted to share a cute card I created using some Die-Namite Dies.
 The card measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4"

http://www.die-namites.com/Spring-Blossoms_p_157.html

http://www.die-namites.com/Festive-Owls_p_237.html#

I began with cutting the top layer of cream stock 5" x 5" and used a corner punch on each of the 4 corner.  Although the Festive Owl DN-1228 is more of a Christmas theme die, I decided to use it for a spring card and cut the owls away from the poinsettia vine. I cut the owls out 3 times and glued each layer until I got the look I was looking. I added some stickles to give more details to the owls.
I then cut out 3 of the Spring Blossoms Die DN-1150 and colored them with some colored pencils. I arranged the branches on the card and nestled the owns in the branches.

Supplies

Love Birds Layout by Tonya Gibbs

We are wrapping up our WEEK OF LOVE
with a BEAUTIFUL layout by Tonya Gibbs!

Happy Valentine's Day!

This week my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary.
I can honestly say, I am more in love with him today, than ever before.
We have been through a lot in these 25 years,
but together we have made lots of great memories.

Since our theme this week was love, I decided to create a layout for today's post of my hubby and I!

I'm featuring these two dies from Die-namites

I just love the foliage on both of these dies, and they are perfect filler for your floral sprays!  I didn't want to use the cliché Valentine's colors, so I chose a lavender and green color scheme. These colors are romantic yet regal!

I love how my Die-namites Dies encompass my photo and give the illusion of  a romantic garden.

Here is a process video of me creating the layout.

Here is the full view of my layout.
