"LOVE" Wedding Card by Peggy Lee

A great way to close out the month of June
by sharing a simple but elegant
wedding card!

As we all know June is a beautiful month for Weddings!
Many weddings happen this month so I thought why
not create a simple and elegant card.
I love this white on white tone-with simple embossed background!
I used this fabulous Die-Namites Die "LOVE HEART"...

Love Heart

I used glitter paper to die cut out the LOVE HEART die...
the glitter gives the card image a pop!

I embossed the popped up white card stock layer using
the simple dot embossing folder.
The card still needed a little more sparkle so I added
three little crystal gems.
I just love how this Wedding card came out!
(less is more)...

Happy Sunday Everyone!
Today I want to show you a card I did using 2 Die-Namite Dies

First I used the Spring Doily. One of my favs BTW.
I sprayed the doily with Glimmer Mist and Adirondack Color Wash.

The second one is Leafy Flourish.
Another one of my favs. I diecut the Leafy Flourish 4 times.
I put it under and over my Spring Doily die cut.

The papers are from Creative Imaginations 6x6 paper pad - Song Birds. Beautiful papers. The super big flower is from Prima. The smaller flowers and leaves are from I Am Roses. They are colored with distress inks. The branches and butterfly are from the Dollar Store. The butterfly is colored with distress inks. TFL and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hi everyone, It´s a pleasure to be here with you!!! Today I want to share a colorful card that I made to celebrate a birthday. In my card I am using the Flower Scroll die cut, perfect for this summer!

To create this card I used only Whisper White cardstock and I made a dry embossing over the second layer with the Tiny Triangles Embossing Folder from Stampin Up.
Using Stampin´Write Markers I gave colors to some of this little triangles.

Like I said, I am using the Flower Scroll which I cut in Watermelon Wonder Cardstock, one of my favorites colors. This die is great to use alone or combined with others because it has a perfect size and details that you can highlight.

For my message I used two stamps from the Happy Stamp & Cut Set from Hero Arts. I stamped the main image with three different colors of ink to create the ombré effect. Additionally I pasted some sequins in silver and aqua color over the background as embellishments to the card.

Thank you for stopping by today and remember to join us in our June Sketch Challenge. It's will be open the entire month and you will have the opportunity win a $25 gift card from DieNamites Store. See you soon!

Cute Little Man with Video

My little man Brandon was given a juice box when he was 10 months old, he really did not care about the juice he like the straw better.  Mugging for the camera even then he made all the funny faces with he straw in his mouth.  Such a funny cute little baby of mine.

Here is a video of how I made this fun, grungy, silly baby boy page!

This super cute little "Lovely Footprints" die from Die~Namites dies fits wonderfully with the theme of the layout, cut it up and it adds the perfect touch!!

Here are some close up pictures of the layout some all the wonderful layers and textures .

My son in this picture is now 5 years old, it is never to late to go back and add pictures to baby books.  At the time these pictures did not stand out to me, but has his personality grew I look back at moments like these and realize how much these little snippets of his goofiness were really previews of my little man waiting to come out!!

Whooo it's FRIDAY!
What a great way to start the weekend & it's

Like Lynne said earlier this!
(so if you are just starting today, be sure to click the link above
to see the start of MAN WEEK!)

Thank you for joining Die~Namites Dies for....
a week of masculine inspired creations!

Here is my take on this months Die-Namites
 & Man Week Blog Showcase!

Father's Day Card

you can find out all the details on the blog, here!

I used this fabulous die-for my card, switched it up to go with the

(even though this dies's title is for a mom why not change it up-changing
the color of card stock or ink to manly color turn into a Father's Nest)

Let's Get Started!
I started with a piece of black card stock 4 x 12 folded in half.
Ran a piece of slate grey card stock and wood grain embossing folder
through my embossing/die cutting machine to give the card a manly feel.
Sanded off the top layer exposing the white core of the slate grey card stock.
(makes the wood grain come to life)

I took the Die-Namites Die "Mom's Nest" and die cut it
out in three different kinds of card stocks.
Kraft, black and cocoa colored card stocks this way I
could fussy cut them apart and piece back together.
(see photo below)

I had a few other Die-Namites Dies cut and in my
why not ink them up and fussy cut apart for tucking into my card.

Here are the Die-Namites Dies I used (from my stash-already die cut).

Knobby Branch    Leafy Branch

My friend Lynne Forsythe had a workshop a few weekends ago and we
got to play with some Die-Namites Dies, Perfect Paints, The Crafters Workshop Stencils.
There was a ton of leftovers-so we bagged it up and I brought it home to play with.
It fit perfect for texture on the birds nest!!!
And when you look at the card my side piece with the brick texture is actually a Kraft Tag
we used in the workshop to collect our leftover goodness from our mats.
(use up your stash)!

I took my leftover TAG and placed it on side ways to go with this month's
sketch...snipped off the tag pieces that were hanging off the edge.
Then started to build up the bird's nest
by cutting apart the dies and piecing them back together. You
can create a whole new kind of die cut.

(see the depth you can achieve with pop dotting your pieces)

Thanks so much for stopping by today, be sure to check out the design teams earlier blog post
from this week and be INSPIRED!
Hope you all have a great FATHER'S DAY weekend!

Man Week / Father's Day Card with Tina

Hi Everyone,
Today is Day 4 for Man Week.

By now you've seen what other team mates have created at the Die-Namites Blog.
Are you blown away like I am?
Get ready because Father's Day is right around the corner.

Today I am sharing with you a card I made using the Cattails Die from Die-Namites.

The papers are from Echo Park 6x6 paper pad - Reflections. They are a great masculine set of papers. I cut out one of the clocks and used Tim Holtz Idea-ology mini gears and game spinners to create a realistic clock.
I used a dollar store butterfly and distress markers with a waterbrush to give the butterfly colors to match the papers. The floss is from We R Memory Keepers - Slate. The star button is from Jillibean Soup - Cool Beans.
For my sentiment I used distress ink on my mat with water and passed the paper over the ink. Then I printed the sentiment. TFL!
