A FOND FAREWELL

Hi Die~Namites Fans
it is with great sadness that I bid
y'all a fond farewell!!!

It has been a wonderful ride as
Design Team Coordinator for Die~Namites Dies.

I have had the opportunity to meet
and work with such a FABULOUS
group of people!

THANK YOU to my AMAZING TEAMIES
that I have had the opportunity to work with
and watch grow in their craft.

THANK YOU to the WONDERFUL
industry peeps I have had the
good fortune to work with!

THANK YOU to Dani for giving the opportunity
to be the Design Team Coordinator
and also the opportunity to design a few dies myself!

so here is my THANK YOU...
....to you the Die~Namites Fans!
I went to my pile of 'tovers!
and selected this CCB folder that
I had applied leftover Perfect Paints.
....and few Petaloo flowers that
were just laying around.
I chose a piece of CCB Flute ~ Kraft
and my Large Ivy die.
When cut out I spritzed it with
TA ~ Caper Green and
applied a shadow using
TA~ Glimmer Glam ~ Lime Cordial.
I then pulled out my Pompom die and
cut it from a piece of CCB White Cardstock,
I cut it into smaller pieces.....
JUST THE PERFECT accent behind my
cluster of Petaloo Flowers.
There you have it Die~Namites Fans!
a BIG THANK YOU TO YOU!!

Wishing you all the BEST on your creative journey!!

DIE CUTS WITH FOIL

Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share with you another technique or product that you can use with your die cuts. As you know the foil is one of the most popular products right now and you can use it with our die cuts in just one step.

To show you how to work with foil, I chose the Flowery Butterfly Die Cut. This is a beautiful shape that you can use for many occasions alone or combined with other die cuts.

The first thing that you have to do is to cut your die cut on the black cardstock that comes with your foiling machine. If you don't have a foiling machine you can use a laminator machine and  you can create the black cardstock, printing a complete black page on a laser printer using cardstock as paper. Then you can cut your die cut with this.

Select the color of your foil and prepare your machine. If you are working with a laminator, you need to wait until the heat reaches the highest temperature and stays there. Create your "sandwich" and pass it through the machine.

At the end you will have the most wonderful metallic flowery butterfly and you can create your project.

To make my card I used a big word from an Altenew Stamp Set called Super Scrip 2, a Designer Paper from Stampin Up, a Whisper White Cardstock and some yellow thread.

Before I leave I want to say thank you to Lynne Forsythe, for her wonderful coordination on this team and friendship. Good luck!

See you soon!!!

Shabby Easel Card with Stick It & Die~Namites Dies!

Hello everyone it's Peggy Lee here to share with you all my
Shabby Easel Card I created with Stick It &
my favorite Die~Namites Dies (large and small ivy dies)!!

Have you all enjoyed our week long hop
show casing the amazing product promotion with  Stick It & Die~Namites Dies.
I know I have amazing projects by the design team members!!

Using the Die~Namites Dies and Stick it work together perfect!
Stick It is the perfect adhesive for die-cuts and electronic cutting machines, they are created by Ken Oliver and they are available in two different sizes, 8"x12-1/4" and 8"6-1/8"for different sized dies. Great for Die~Namites  detailed dies-they are perfect for adhering, adding glitter, embossing powders so much more...

&

Large Ivy  Small Ivy

Let's Stick It!
First I cut a piece of Stick It sheet to the size of the Die~Namites Die...to save on waste.
The Stick It sheet has creases to help you lift the sheet backer off on both sides.

Start by removing one corner and Stick It to one corner of your paper/card stock piece.

Gently peel the backer and smooth the adhesive sheet down then repeat.

Now run the adhesive sheet paper/card stock piece through your die cutting
machine....(see the negative images-save those you can create something pretty with them).

Now you are ready to adhere your die cut pieces down to your projects.
On my card I did a cool trick!!
I only peeled away the adhesive backer near the bottom of the die cut pieces.

Which stuck amazing to my card base and gave the die cut pieces
depth (like they were free floating) whoola!

Here are a few more photos of my Shabby Easel Card....love the softness of
this BoBunny paper and Petaloo flowers with silk ribbon.
And I couldn't resist adding my favorite "vintage mother of pearl buttons".

Thanks for stopping by today,
be sure to leave me some love for a chance to win....

hugs,
Peggy Lee

Mixed Media Canvas with Ken Oliver Stick It

Hi!!! Pam here today and I am so excited to share my mixed media canvas today using Die-Namites Dies along with Ken Oliver's Stick It which you can find at Scrapbook.com.

I began by first spraying a 8" x 8" canvas with Dylusion Sprays. Allow it to dry completely.

Place a piece of Ken Oliver's Stick It Adhesive to a piece of Ken's Studio pattern paper. Die cut out Spring Doily (DN-1159) from the center of the paper. Place prepared pattern paper on top of black card stock. Place  Spring Doily (DN-1159) to center of black card stock.
Apply to top and bottom of dry canvas black gesso using Woodgrain Stencil with palette knife. (Lay matted piece down to determine where to apply gesso) Allow to dry completely.
Add the matted piece to top of dry canvas using pieces of Ken Oliver's Stick It.
Spray black burlap ribbon and rosette ribbon with Vibrant Turquoise Dylusion Spray, dry completely and place on canvas.

Place Ken Oliver's Stick It to a piece of Ken's Studio pattern paper, die cut Bird Song (DN-1058), Place around the Spring Doily (DN-1159) Add an image to center of the

Die cut two of the Flowering Branch (DN-1044) from green card stock and place with flowers to the front of the canvas. Fussy cut two of the flowers from Ken Oliver's Studio pattern paper and add to front to canvas. I hope you enjoyed my mixed media canvas today, make sure to check out our week long Ken Oliver inspiration pieces along with taking a peek at both Die-Namites Store, Blog and Ken Oliver's Products.

Happy Birthday Card

Hello everyone, Erin Reed here! Welcome to our third day with this wonderful product promotion with Stick It and our Die~Namites Dies!

I wanted to create a beautiful card for my MIL for her birthday next month.  I went a different route and went for a flat square card, you do not open it up, but instead it acts like a post card.  Using the Die~Namites Dies and Stick It together is perfect, they work so well together!!  Stick It are the perfect adhesive sheets for die cuts and electronic cutting machines, they are created by Ken Oliver and they are available in two different sizes, 8"x12-1/4" and 8"6-1/8"for different sized dies.  You can even double side them to you can glue glitter to the front!!

I cut out 2 Die~Namites Dies in "Happy Birthday" and "Heart Doily" to use with the Stick It sheets.

http://www.die-namites.com/http://www.die-namites.com/

I only applied the Stick It adhesive to the back of the doily to glue it to the card, but I applied the Stick It to the front and back of the "Happy Birthday" so I could add glitter!!

First I cut apart a bit of the doily so you can see more when the paper on top is applied, just just makes the circle bigger.

I then applied the "Happy Birthday" to the mat and pulled off the top layer to expose the adhesive and add the glitter.

I did not have the perfect color of glitter for this project, so I mixed all thee colors until I got the color I wanted, a pretty peachy gold!!

Here is a video of how to apply the Stick It and the glitter from Stick It!!

Here are some close up pictures of the card.
