HOLA WITH FIVE PETAL FLOWERS

Hola!  dear friends, Martha Lucia here to share with you a fun card that I made using a Five Petal Flowers Die Cut.

As you noted, I really love to show you the beautiful style of DieNamites Die Cuts and this card is not an exception. I love to create simple cards and for this I am using for the base Tip Top Taupe color and Very Vanilla for the second layer. I also created a faux watercolor background using the watermelon wonder color.

Then I cut my Five Petal Flowers using Night of Navy card stock. I created some doodles using beige twine and I pasted these before pasting the die cut. To paste the die cut I used some foam tape to create dimension. I decorated the center on the flowers with medium pearls.

The last part was stamping the sentimen HOLA! on the right corner using night of navy classic ink.

BIRDHOUSE TRIO FOR YOU

Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here with a birthday card for you. I am using a new die cut, the Birdhouse Trio, which has now become one of my favorites.

To create my card I used a card base in Baked Brown color and a second layer in Very Vanilla. I cut the Birdhouse Trio die cut in Mint Macaron and I gave color to each part using alcohol markers. To give more dimension to the branches, I also cut some of these using the Budding Vine in different tones of green.

Before pasting the die cuts over the second layer, I sparkled this with Fireworks in Cottage Ivy and Cantaloupe, then I pasted the Budding Vines and lastly, I pasted the birdhouse trio.

I stamped the sentiment vertically using Mossy Meadow Classic Ink.

Before I leave, I can't forget about our Monthly Challenge. You can see all the details here and you can participate using one of these four sketches. You can win a Gift Certificate of $25 dollars to use in the DieNamites Store. Come and join us!

Thank You Card by Pam Bray

Hi it is Pam today on the blog excited to share with you my take on the August Sketch Challenge...I choose #3 from the sketches that is shared on the challenge photo.

This month you will have the opportunity to choose one of these four Die-Namites  sketches to create your project. You can make a card or  layout. And guess what? The Dare is Anything Goes!!!

Here are the rules to play along!
*********************************************************************
TO ENTER the Die~Namites Dies May Sketch Challenge YOU MUST:

1.Use at least one Die~Namites Die in your creation.
2.Use one of these SKETCHES! It can be interpreted (loosely or exactly) as a card, layout, or altered piece!
3. Incorporate the DARE into your creation.
4. Mention the Die~Namites Die you used in your blog post.
5. Link back to the Die~Namites Die.
6. You have until August 30 to post your creation on your blog and link up to this post.  **PLEASE add a link to your direct post, not your entire blog.**
Each participant will receive one entry into our random drawing
for each entry into the challenge.
A random winner will be chosen from eligible participants for a
$25 Gift Certificate to Die~Namites Dies.
*********************************************************************
I began by first layering my pattern paper and border onto black card stock that was placed on a 5" x 6,1/2" card base. I cut two darker and one lighter Heart Leaves Swirl DN-1194 from pattern paper and one Elegant Medallion DN-1092  from pattern paper.

 Elegant Medallion DN-1092

Heart Leaves Swirl DN-1194

I love Xyron Creative Station...you can run both 9" and 5" adhesive. It allows you to run a lot of large pieces or small intricate ones like the Die-Namite die cuts that are so detailed.

Remove the intricate Heart Leaves Swirl DN-1194 from the Xyron adhesive sheet and place them on the front of the prepared card base. (Leave the Elegant Medallion DN-1092 on the adhesive sheet til you need it.)

Add double mat to over the top of the Heart Leaves Swirl DN-1194.
Take the Elegant Medallion DN-1092 off the adhesive sheet and place the matted piece.

Add a sentiment and a couple of layer embellishment from the sticker sheet.

I hope you enjoyed my take on the August Sketch Challenge #3. Hope you play along with us this month and link your entry to the blog. We would love to have you as friend, follower and subscriber to the following social media avenues: Facebook  Fans, Pinterest and Instagram.
 Hugs Pam

Happy Blooming Day!

Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share with you my take on our DieNamites Challenges this month. I decided to use the sketch number 1 and of course I made my interpretation of this and here it is...

Since we are still in summer, I decided to use these fabulous colors, the tangelo twist, rich razzleberry and the whisper white. I also used a great lime green designer paper to create the doily background.

The die cuts that I used for my card were two of my favorites. They are the Spring Doily and the Hibiscus.

Maybe you noted some dimension under the Hibiscus die cut. Yes, I used fun foam to give this and create this wonderful and fresh effect. The die cuts from DieNamites perfectly cut a lot of materials and give us the possibilities to create many options.

To finalize my card, I stamped a sentiment from a Flower Patch stamp set by Stampin Up using Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink.

Now it is your turn! You can use any of these four sketches to create your project and link it here. You will have the opportunity to win a Gift Certificate of $25 dollars to use in the DieNamites Store. Come and join us!

Grow up Sweet Layout

In the spring of 2015 we tried our hand at planting some snap peas, and they grew wonderfully.  When the Grandparents came to visit Catherine was so proud of her garden she had to show it off.  Grandma had her phone in hand taking pictures of all our plants when Catherine stuck her head through the peas and we got these super cute pictures of her.

To add that touch of elegance and whimsey I used two Die~Namites Dies in "Elegant Holly" and "Butterfly Frame" behind the photos cut from white cardstock.

http://www.die-namites.com/http://www.die-namites.com/

I cut each die in half and tucked it behind the pictures to frame the photos from underneath, giving it a sort of base for the other elements to build from.

Once the dies were cut I ran the dies  through my Xyron 3" Sticker Maker to turn all these items into stickers!!

I love catching my kids on thee moments, for it really represents their true nature and not just a posed smile.  To my this is one of the best things about having your camera with you at all times, you can catch these amazing quick moments at any time!
