Nativity Scene

Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share with you a Nativity Scene. I think this is one of the most traditional die cuts and I feel it is something I must have in my collection.

The Nativity Scene is a perfect die cut size that you can use alone or to complement a project. I cut mine in a watercolor paper and then I colored it with watercolor crayons using an aquapainter.

I pasted it with dimensions directly over a embossed whisper white layer. I stamped my sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and tied to loops of red and white baker's twine to add a Christmas touch.

The base of the card is Mossy Meadow and let me tell you, this was one of the projects of my 12 weeks of Stampartpapel Christmas.

I have a 15% discount code for you to use with your next order over at the Die-Namites Dies Online Store. Use martha15 during the checkout process. By the way: you'll get free shipping on all orders over 45$ worldwide!!!

See you soon with more inspiration for your creations!

Snowy Ornament

Hi my dear crafty friends! Christmas time is near, so I have a nice Christmas ornament to share today.

I used the "Snowglobe Scene".
Snowglobe Scene
I have a 15% discount code for you to use with your next order over at the Die-Namites Dies Online Store. Use susanne15 during the checkout process. By the way: you'll get free shipping on all orders over 45$ worldwide!!!

To create the ornament I cut a background circle with the same size as my acrylic ornament. I colored it with Distress Ink "Tumbled Glass". Then I adhered the top of the "Snowglobe Scene" to the back and a second layer with only the snowmen using 3d foam squares. Before I build everything together I added a teaspoon of snow. Fake snow of course ;-).
You need to add some coins to the backside of the ornament, so that it will hang straight.

See you all soon, Susanne!

More Fall Challenge Inspiration

Hello, Crafty Friends!!
I have another inspirational card to share with you today and also a quick reminder that there's still time to get those November challenge entries in!!

This month's challenge can be found here.
Here is a look at the inspirational photo of the month...

I love the reflective elements in this picture. The glistening light inspired me to incorporate reflective foil/metallic cardstock as my focal point.

I used this gorgeous Heart Branch as my main focal point and created my card using fall colors and textures.

I  cut the Heart Branches out of gold foil paper and airbrushed the bottom of the stalks in a darker orange color. I used alcoho; inks while airbrushing over the foil so the color lays down translucent and still maintains all the shine.

I backed it with burlap panel to give it a harvest /fall feel to the card. I also grouped the branches together and tied a bow around them. They kind of remind me of stalks of wheat.

then I added flowers to the center of my bow and topped them with seed beads.

And there you have it... a simple and elegant card that automatically draws your attention to the heart branches and gold foil.

Don't forget to post your challenge projects on the original post for your chance to enter this month's challenge!!

holiday card

Hello friends! It's Marina here today and I want to share my holiday card. The idea of this card "eat my brain" about a week (not sure that in English is colloquialism, but in Russian we have so).
and several details:

I use my favourite Christmas dies Bitty Bells and Bitty Santa,  they match perfectly to my idea - everything is shining and Santa opens door to the Christmas house. I cut Santa from black cardstock and bells from glittered foam - I think in Christmas everything must shine! )))

And please don't forget to use code marina15 to get 15% discount!

Products Used:
Bitty Bells

Bitty Santa

Hope I can inspire you!
Have a great day,
Marina.
