as a base for my forest I use Budding Branch, then add Holly Branch and the birds (this time my work is without deer ahahah)))) all you need to do next is just add some colour on the berries and some liquid enamel dots. that's all, your tag is ready! ))))

Mixed Media Canvas by Susanne

Hi my dear crafty friends.

Susanne here today. Recently I told you the tip in our Blog Hop, to cut a stencil or mask with your dies. I use mylar to cut my stencils. On this canvas I used the Winter Cardinal as a mask. I adhered it temporary with Gel Medium to the canvas after the background was colored. I covered the whole canvas with gesso and removed the stencil. Finally I added some snowflakes with texture paste.

I used the Summer Branch to embellish my little piece of art. I cut them two times and colored them with Distress Markers. The sentiment comes from the Rubber Dance Christmas Cheers and Gift Tags set. It's cut into pieces and adhered to the canvas.

I used the following dies on this mixed media canvas:

Summer Branch
Winter Cardinal

I hope you like my little canvas.Have fun with your Christmas crafts and don't forget about my discount code to save 15% on your next order in the Die-Namites online store. Use "susanne15" during checkout.
I wish you Happy Christmas and a gorgeous 2016! xx Susanne.

Hello dear friends, Martha Lucia here to share with you pop up Christmas Card that I create using two of our die cuts, the Birch Tree & Owls and Birds On A Wire.

The base and some decorations of my card are in Real Red card stock. I create a second layer in Whisper White card stock that I inked using Distress Ink in two different colors of blue, Broken China and Salty Ocean. Then, the card has a third layer, also in Whisper White. Over this I cut the Birch Trees and I used the positive and negative parts that I obtained after the die cut. I separated the trees to create more dimension and pasted over the layer with dimensionals or double sided foam tape.

I wanted to add more color. For this I decided to cut some birds from the Birds On A Wire die cut. With scissors I cut the foots of the birds and pasted on some branches of the trees.

To finalize the card, I stamped a message from the stamp set Merry and Bright using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink over Real Red card stock and added a blue bottom with a white bow. The best part of this card is all the dimension that I got pasting the parts with double foam tape at different heights.

As you will note on the next photos, I "edited" or cut some details of the die cuts to create my scenery. This is one of the possibilities that DieNamites Die Cuts brings to us to create and personalize our projects.

If you like to create with die like me, I have a great gift for you. Use my discount code martha15 in your next shopping in DieNamites Store and you will get 15% off in your entire purchase.
